Green Dreams Tech’`s Michael Ngugi highlights usage of AI to support farmers & food security in Kenya
At the Carnegie Global Technology Summit 2025, Michael Ngugi Michuki from Kenya, Lead Software Developer, Green Dreams Tech, says, "Our company deals with empowering farmers with technology connection resources to practice regenerative agriculture so that we can help in food security. Initially, we developed our platform to be very simple and accessible to farmers who cannot use smartphones. We are bridging the divide, and we've employed AI so that it can solve query-based information. Farmers can ask questions about how to take care of their livestock, what are the best practices for farming and also learning about their own personal health..."
