FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per March 05 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 20256.26 crore against gross selling of Rs 29369.68 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 9113.42 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1901.22 crore with gross sales of Rs 3514.79 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1613.57 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 388.92 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 934.29 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1068.20 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 21.50 crore against gross selling of Rs 359.37 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 337.87 crore in hybrid segment.
