FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per June 25 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 15206.78 crore against gross selling of Rs 19543.36 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 4336.58 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2162.11 crore with gross sales of Rs 2126.12 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 35.99 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 197.57 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 425.57 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 192.01 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 6.14 crore against gross selling of Rs 11.68 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 5.54 crore in hybrid segment.
