FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per February 24 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net sellers in equity and debt segments both, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 10970.94 crore against gross selling of Rs 14402.17 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 3431.23 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2701.10 crore with gross sales of Rs 3318.99 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 617.89 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 2425.1 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 51.32 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1858.53 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 15.85 crore against gross selling of Rs 46.71 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 30.86 crore in hybrid segment.
