Tech Mahindra shines as its arm inks pact to acquire Alyis Servicos Tecnicos
Tech Mahindra is currently trading at Rs. 1398.75, up by 36.55 points or 2.68% from its previous closing of Rs. 1362.20 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 1369.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1,398.85 and Rs. 1369.65 respectively. So far 1108 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1850.00 on 03-Feb-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1304.25 on 09-Mar-2026.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1,453.00 and Rs. 1355.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 133503.50 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 34.97%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 56.08% and 8.95% respectively.
Tech Mahindra’s wholly-owned subsidiary -- Tech Mahindra Servicos De Informatica S.A has entered into and executed a Quota Purchase Agreement with Orange Business Services Brasil LTDA (Orange Business) for acquisition of Alyis Servicos Tecnicos LTDA, in accordance with the terms and conditions as stipulated in the said Agreement.
The acquisition is part of the partnership signed between the Company and Orange Business Services Brasil, which includes outsourcing of selected international operations including global customer support, quote to bill and post-sale support. Alyis Serviços Tecnicos LTDA has operations in Brazil supporting the LATAM region, and this acquisition will enable the Company to provide seamless support to Orange Business Services Brasil customers.
Consequent to completion of the Transaction, Alyis Servicos Tecnicos LTDA will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tech Mahindra Servicos De Informatica S.A and a wholly-owned stepdown subsidiary of the Company. The cost of acquisition is 1.2 million Brazilian real (BRL), equivalent to around Rs 2.21 crore at an exchange rate of Rs 18.42 per BRL.
