Bharti Airtel rises on deploying over 4300 new 5G sites across UP East
Bharti Airtel is currently trading at Rs. 1811.15, up by 18.75 points or 1.05% from its previous closing of Rs. 1792.40 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 1791.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1811.15 and Rs. 1773.70 respectively. So far 28549 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2174.70 on 21-Nov-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1669.55 on 07-Apr-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1815.05 and Rs. 1747.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1091932.39 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 48.87%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 48.42% and 2.72% respectively.
Bharti Airtel has deployed more than 4300 new 5G sites across UP East in the last 12 months, significantly strengthening its network presence across the region. The large scale network expansion was undertaken across 48 districts of UP East circle, covering 34 million people across urban centres, growth towns and remote rural villages. By adding an average of 12 new sites every day, it has accelerated the roll out of high-speed connectivity, ensuring customers experience consistent performance for work, education, entertainment and digital payments.
Customers in Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, Ayodhya, Jhansi and several others districts will directly benefit from this enhanced network footprint. The expanded coverage will enable seamless access to high speed 5G services, supporting the everyday digital needs of citizens, students, micro entrepreneurs, enterprises and government institutions across urban and rural markets.
