Oil India soars as its consolidated net profit jumps 91% in Q1

Oil India is currently trading at Rs. 452.65, up by 11.65 points or 2.64% from its previous closing of Rs. 441.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 451.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 462.20 and Rs. 448.75 respectively. So far 382818 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 531.00 on 14-May-2026 and a 52 week low of Rs. 384.60 on 29-Aug-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 462.20 and Rs. 435.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 74327.84 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 56.66%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 37.29% and 6.06% respectively.

Oil India has reported over three-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 2,870.21 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 as compared to Rs 813.48 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company has increased by 63.41% at Rs 8,478.78 crore for Q1FY27 as compared to Rs 5,188.54 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 91.40% jump in its net profit at Rs 3,629.79 crore for Q1FY27 as compared to Rs 1,896.42 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company has increased by 46.98% at Rs 13,236.10 crore for Q1FY27 as compared to Rs 9,005.62 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
