FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per December 2 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday’s data were net sellers in equity segment, while net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 18992.12 crore against gross selling of Rs 19982.44 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 990.32 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 4867.32 crore with gross sales of Rs 2694.46 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2172.86 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 484.54 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 70.69 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 2586.71 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 16.27 crore against gross selling of Rs 30.32 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 14.05 crore in hybrid segment.
