FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per July 02 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 14843.54 crore against gross selling of Rs 13738.02 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1105.52 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 3374.57 crore with gross sales of Rs 1084.49 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2290.08 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 320.26 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 14.41 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 2624.75 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 16.95 crore against gross selling of Rs 16.53 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 0.42 crore in hybrid segment.
