FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per July 02 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 13706.52 crore against gross selling of Rs 13566.30 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 140.22 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 5212.97 crore with gross sales of Rs 2738.11 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2474.86 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 938.57 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 56.26 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1592.55 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 36.98 crore against gross selling of Rs 47.04 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 10.06 crore in hybrid segment.
