FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per October 05 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Monday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 13147.77 crore against gross selling of Rs 22429.29 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 9281.52 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1054.93 crore with gross sales of Rs 1265.25 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 210.32 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 53.86 crore, while they were net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 132.81 crore and in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 131.37 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 22.14 crore against gross selling of Rs 45.48 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 23.34 crore in hybrid segment.
