FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per December 16 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Monday’s data were net buyers in equity segment, while net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.  

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 16587.67 crore against gross selling of Rs 13651.16 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2936.51 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2312.10 crore with gross sales of Rs 2422.62 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 110.52 crore in debt.

Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 29.76 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 40.97 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 121.73 crore.

In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 228.72 crore against gross selling of Rs 307.50 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 78.78 crore in hybrid segment.
