TCS gains on inaugurating new delivery center in France

Tata Consultancy Services is currently trading at Rs. 4089.25, up by 12.30 points or 0.30% from its previous closing of Rs. 4076.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 4098.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 4110.70 and Rs. 4084.00 respectively. So far 2248 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 4585.90 on 02-Sep-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 3593.30 on 04-Jun-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 4290.00 and Rs. 4068.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1481444.02 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 71.77%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 23.58% and 4.64% respectively.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has inaugurated a new delivery center in Toulouse, France. In the new state-of-the-art facility, TCS will harness next-generation technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), generative AI, machine learning, and data analytics to help customers in aerospace and related industries such as manufacturing and defence.

The delivery centre will facilitate AI-driven transformation and foster innovation to improve aircraft design, manufacturing, and maintenance processes for European clients. This includes enhancing fuel efficiency, developing advanced materials for lighter aircraft structures, and implementing predictive maintenance to minimize downtime, improve safety, and redefine the passenger experience of the future. This delivery centre is strategically located in Blagnac near Toulouse Airport to be closer to customers in the aerospace industry. This is TCS’ fourth delivery center in France after Lille, Poitiers, and Paris-Suresnes.
