Shiva Texyarn jumps on securing order worth Rs 9.06 crore

Shiva Texyarn is currently trading at Rs. 216.00, down by 13.25 points or 6.54% from its previous closing of Rs. 202.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 206.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 216.00 and Rs. 198.05 respectively. So far 352 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 299.00 on 08-Nov-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 135.00 on 26-Mar-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 234.00 and Rs. 189.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 262.82 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.04%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.01% and 25.96% respectively.

Shiva Texyarn has received an order from Central Government, Ministry of Defence, Department of Military Affairs, Indian Airforce for supply of 21,333 pieces of NBC HAVERSACK MK-II. The said order will be delivered between January 18, 2025 and January 18, 2026. Broad consideration or size of the order is Rs 9.06 crore (inclusive of all duties and taxes).

Shiva Texyarn is engaged in the manufacturing and marketing of cotton yarn and other textile products. Its business also includes wind power generations.
