DCM Shriram jumps on reporting 9% rise in Q3 consolidated net profit

DCM Shriram is currently trading at Rs. 1119.95, up by 13.45 points or 1.22% from its previous closing of Rs. 1106.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1155.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1155.85 and Rs. 1076.20 respectively. So far 3358 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1370.00 on 19-Nov-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 840.15 on 28-Mar-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1155.85 and Rs. 1015.95 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 17464.76 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 66.52%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 11.47% and 22.01% respectively.

DCM Shriram has reported 6.60% rise in net profit at Rs 248.98 crore for third quarter ended December 31, 2024 (Q3FY25) as compared to Rs 233.57 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 11.95% at Rs 3,465.50 crore for Q3FY25 as compared to Rs 3,095.67 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 9.01% rise in its net profit at Rs 262.14 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2024 as compared to Rs 240.48 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 12.21% at Rs 3559.98 crore for Q3FY25 as compared to Rs 3172.65 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
