FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per April 30 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 15694.08 crore against gross selling of Rs 13342.85 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2351.23 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1185.84 crore with gross sales of Rs 3607.35 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2421.51 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 1045.65 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 439.88 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 935.98 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 18.54 crore against gross selling of Rs 13.63 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 4.91 crore in hybrid segment.
