Baroda BNP Paribas MF today announced that its Baroda BNP Paribas Balanced Advantage Fund completes six years of consistently creating wealth for its investors this November. This significant milestone comes with another notable achievement for the scheme - crossing Rs 4,000 crore in assets under management (AUM). Since its inception, the fund has not only delivered returns above the category average but has also positioned itself as a top performer for investors seeking to participate in the growth of the equity markets but with lower volatility.

The scheme not only invests in equity and debt instruments but also capitalizes on derivatives to take advantage of pricing differentials between the cash and futures markets. The fund uses a proprietary model to actively allocate assets between Equity and fixed income. This enables the fund to take advantage of market volatility and leads to relatively smoother investment journey for its investors.

SIP investors in the Baroda BNP Paribas Balanced Advantage Fund have seen strong returns, consistently outperforming the benchmark index over 1, 3, and 5-year periods as well as since inception. Returns for lumpsum investors too have consistently beaten the benchmark as can be seen from the tables below.

In recent times when the Indian stock markets have seen higher volatility driven by global factors and domestic developments hybrid funds have received greater attention from investors. Balanced Advantage Funds are ideal for relatively conservative equity investors, providing a balance between growth and capital protection. These schemes dynamically adjust equity exposure, reducing it when markets are overvalued and increasing it during short-term dips, capitalizing on buying opportunities. At the same time, the fund manager in schemes such as the Baroda BNP Paribas Balanced Advantage Fund ensures that debt investments are held in high-credit-quality instruments, offering added safety.

By investing across large-cap, mid-cap, and small-cap equity shares, the fund diversifies risk while striving to maximize returns as its not constrained by a mandate to stocks of a certain market capitalisation. With its active asset allocation and dynamic management approach, the Baroda BNP Paribas Balanced Advantage Fund continues to be a preferred choice for investors seeking a resilient and growth-oriented investment strategy.
