ACME Solar Holdings shines on winning LoA for 50 MW FDRE project by Tata Power

Acme Solar Holdings is currently trading at Rs. 295.50, up by 8.50 points or 2.96% from its previous closing of Rs. 287.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 284.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 303.60 and Rs. 284.25 respectively. So far 141299 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 309.95 on 25-Aug-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 167.55 on 28-Jan-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 303.60 and Rs. 278.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 17971.11 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 83.41%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 12.37% and 4.22% respectively.

ACME Solar Holdings has been awarded a Letter of Award (LoA) for 50 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project at a tariff of Rs 4.43 per unit in a 250 MW FDRE tender floated by Tata Power Company (Tata Power-D). Tata Power-D is a licensed electricity distribution company and is a part of Tata Power Company.

The FDRE tender was floated under tariff-based competitive guidelines (TBCB) for which an e-reverse auction was conducted on August 13, 2025. The project will be required to maintain a minimum annual CUF of 40% and ensure four hours of peak-hour supply with 90% availability on a monthly basis.

The project would combine multiple renewable energy technologies including Solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to meet the supply obligations for PPA tenor of 25 years. The commissioning timeline of the project is 24 months from the PPA signing.
