PGIM India Asset Management announces merger of Low Duration Fund into Money Market Fund
PGIM India Mutual Fund has informed that the Board of Directors of PGIM India Asset Management and PGIM India Trustees, the asset management company and trustee company of PGIM India Mutual Fund have approved the proposal for merger of PGIM India Low Duration Fund, an open-ended low duration debt scheme investing in instruments such that the Macaulay duration of the portfolio is between 6 months to 12 months with relatively low interest rate risk and moderate credit risk scheme. (The scheme has 1 segregated portfolio which was created under PGIM India Credit Risk Fund. Main portfolio of PGIM India Credit Risk Fund was merged with PGIM India Low Duration Fund with effect from January 22, 2022) into PGIM India Money Market Fund, an open-ended debt scheme investing in money market instruments with relatively low interest rate risk and moderate credit risk scheme (the schemes). Further, SEBI, vide its communication no. SEBI/HO/IMD/IMD-RAC-2/P/OW/2023/0000033710/1dated August 22, 2023 has provided it’s no objection to the aforesaid proposal.
This Notice-cum-Addendum forms an integral part of Scheme Information Document (SIDs) and Key Information Memorandum (KIMs) of the relevant Schemes of PGIM India MF, as amended from time to time. All the other terms and conditions of SIDs and KIMs of the above-mentioned Schemes of the Mutual Fund will remain unchanged.
