Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund (MF) has launched Kotak Quant Fund, an open-ended equity scheme following Quant based investing theme. The NFO opens for subscription on July 12, 2023 and closes on July 26, 2023. The Entry load is nil for the scheme. The Exit load will be 0.5%, for redemption / switch out within 90 days from the date of allotment and nil, if units are redeemed or switched out on or after 90 days from the date of allotment. Units issued on reinvestment of IDCW shall not be subject to entry and exit load. The minimum subscription amount is Rs 5,000 and in multiples of Rs 1 for purchase and Re 0.01 for switches.
The performance of the scheme will be benchmarked against NIFTY 200 TRI and its fund managers are Harish Krishnan (equity investment), Abhishek Bisen (debt investment) and Arjun Khanna (foreign securities investments).
The investment objective of the scheme is to generate long term capital appreciation by investing predominantly in equity and equity related securities selected based on quant model theme.
