Daily fliers touches 270k, weekly average inches up to 240k
Weekly average daily fliers came in at 240k in the week ended (W.E) 10th Jan’21 vs 235k in the W.E. 3 rd Jan’21. The count increased from 38k to 240k in the first 31 weeks post the resumption of domestic air travel from 25th May’20. For the W.E. 10th Jan’21, average number of departures per day increased to 2,173 vis-à-vis 2,147 in the W.E. 3 rd Jan’21. The number of fliers per departure increased marginally to 111 in the W.E. 10th Jan’21 vs 109 in the W.E. 3 rd Jan’21.
