Head Priest of Ram Janmabhoomi Acharya Satyendra Das while speaking to ANI on November 06 explained the difference between Diwali and Dhanteras. He said that there are not many differences between the two festivals as both of them require devotion to common deities.
He said, “There are not many differences between Dhanteras and Diwali because praying to Goddess Laxmi and Lord Kuber is common. The date of Dhanteras is November 10. The devotees pray for peace and happiness. People buy a lot of things during this occasion, particularly those items that are made of gold. They get good fortune
