FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per April 02 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 26270.48 crore against gross selling of Rs 32606.14 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 6335.66 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 8775.06 crore with gross sales of Rs 3223.48 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 5551.58 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 23.56 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 94.43 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 5433.59 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 42.06 crore against gross selling of Rs 67.16 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 25.10 crore in hybrid segment.
