FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per September 18 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Friday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 9215.71 crore against gross selling of Rs 12379.75 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 3164.04 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 2970.53 crore with gross sales of Rs 2549.45 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 421.08 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 1150.36 crore, while they were net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 78.06 crore and in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 651.22 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 38.39 crore against gross selling of Rs 16.78 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 21.61 crore in hybrid segment.
