Its anti-allergic properties inhibit allergens in the lungs, providing relief from problems like shortness of breath and cough. Jaggery is also effective in treating throat and lung infections. It also has detox properties, which remove harmful elements from the body. The iron present in it increases hemoglobin, which keeps the blood clean and reduces the risk of anemia. Regular consumption of jaggery is also effective in preventing common problems like body pain.

 

India is a major producer of jaggery. According to experts, taking jaggery hot with herbal decoction is especially beneficial. It not only gives energy but also increases blood sugar slowly, making it a safe option for diabetes patients.
