Sterlite Technologies surges on emerging as lowest bidder from BSNL

Sterlite Technologies is currently trading at Rs. 126.90, up by 4.80 points or 3.93% from its previous closing of Rs. 122.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 123.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 129.70 and Rs. 121.95 respectively. So far 93603 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 162.95 on 17-Nov-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 109.80 on 04-Jun-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 129.70 and Rs. 116.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6200.11 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 44.17%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 19.04% and 36.78% respectively.

Sterlite Technologies (STL) has emerged as Lowest Bidder (L1 bidder) from Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) for Development (Creation, Upgradation and Operation & Maintenance) of Middle mile network of Bharat Net on Design Build Operate and Maintain (DBOM) Model - Package 13 (Jammu & Kashmir). Broad consideration or size of the order is Rs 1625.36 crore.
