NTPC surges as its arm inks MoU with Chhattisgarh State Power Generation
NTPC is currently trading at Rs. 370.55, up by 8.90 points or 2.46% from its previous closing of Rs. 361.65 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 364.35 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 371.50 and Rs. 361.40 respectively. So far 750376 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 448.30 on 30-Sep-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 253.70 on 28-Nov-2023.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 377.10 and Rs. 354.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 360182.66 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.10%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 45.22% and 3.68% respectively.
NTPC’s wholly owned subsidiary -- NTPC Green Energy has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Chhattisgarh State Power Generation (CSPGCL) to develop up to 2000 MW renewable energy projects including floating solar. NTPC Green Energy has signed MoU on November 26, 2024.
NTPC is the largest power utility company in India and has presence in Coal, Gas, Solar PV, Hydro and Wind Power Generation and Coal Mining.
