SpiceJet flies high on launching 32 new flights for winter schedule

SpiceJet is currently trading at Rs. 58.85, up by 1.98 points or 3.48% from its previous closing of Rs. 56.87 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 57.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 59.29 and Rs. 56.45 respectively. So far 5585523 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 79.90 on 16-Sep-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 35.35 on 27-Oct-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 61.75 and Rs. 52.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7560.66 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 29.13%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 31.24% and 39.63% respectively.

SpiceJet has launched 32 new flights for the winter schedule beginning October 27, 2024. With 30 of these flights operating in the domestic sector and two connecting Delhi to Phuket with daily non?stop service, SpiceJet aims to enhance connectivity and provide travellers with more options. 

The winter schedule will feature exciting new routes, including four new flights from Mumbai to Patna, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, and Goa. The airline will connect Patna to Ahmedabad, Guwahati, Kolkata, and Bengaluru; Chennai to Port Blair and Pune; Delhi to Phuket, Amritsar, Gorakhpur and Kolkata to Port Blair.

SpiceJet is among the first private companies that stepped into the Indian aviation sector.
