SML Isuzu rides high on reporting 21% rise in May sales
SML Isuzu is currently trading at Rs. 2156.55, up by 47.15 points or 2.24% from its previous closing of Rs. 2109.40 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 2214.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2220.25 and Rs. 2154.65 respectively. So far 4442 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2470.05 on 26-Feb-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 989.95 on 13-Jul-2023.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2309.55 and Rs. 2090.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3120.38 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 43.96%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 15.81% and 40.23% respectively.
SML Isuzu has sold 1563 vehicles in May 2024 as against 1290 vehicles in May 2023, showing a gained of 21.2% year-on-year (Y-o-Y). Segment-wise, in May 2024, the company's passenger vehicles sales stood at 1245 units, up 19.3% Y-o-Y. Cargo vehicles sales were at 318 units, up 29.3 % Y-o-Y.
