Shriram Pistons zooms on executing definitive pact to acquire Antolin group`s Indian operations

Shriram Pistons & Rings is currently trading at Rs. 3002.20, up by 164.95 points or 5.81% from its previous closing of Rs. 2837.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2860.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 3015.40 and Rs. 2860.00 respectively. So far 80730 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3,015.40 on 08-Dec-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1556.00 on 07-Apr-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 3015.40 and Rs. 2592.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 13180.59 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 43.75%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 19.14% and 37.11% respectively.

Shriram Pistons & Rings has executed definitive agreement to acquire 100% shareholding in Antolin Lighting India (ALIPL), Grupo Antolin India (GAIPL), and Grupo Antolin Chakan (GACPL), a subsidiary of GAIPL. Collectively, these companies represent some of the leading providers of advanced interior solutions to the automotive industry. This acquisition, valued at around Rs 1,670 crore on a debt-free, cash-free basis, plays a key role in the company’s long-term strategy to diversify beyond the traditional ICE powertrain components. By entering the fast-growing automotive interiors segment, the company strengthens its leadership position and future-proofs its portfolio against evolving industry trends.

As part of the transaction, the company will enter into a long-term Technology Licensing Agreement with Grupo Antolin, ensuring continued access to cutting-edge technologies, global best practices, and support for new product development. This collaboration will enable the company to deliver world-class quality and innovation to its customers while seamlessly integrating Antolin’s proven expertise. The transaction is expected to be completed by January 2, 2026.
