I believe with a great sense of sincerity and commitment, Manu will shine again and again…,” said Sarbananda Sonowal.
“I express my gratitude for the love and respect I am receiving. It has been a long journey for me till now. It has been 8.5 years for me in this sport. Since childhood, I was engaged in sports. I think it was a part of my preparation for this moment. A lot of love and respect was given to me here. I feel I am part of this family as my father is a chief engineer in the merchant navy...This time I had only one aim- to perform as my performance in the Tokyo Olympics was not that good,” said Manu Bhaker.
