RailTel Corporation surges on bagging work order worth Rs 186.81 crore
Railtel Corporation Of India is currently trading at Rs. 538.25, up by 14.80 points or 2.83% from its previous closing of Rs. 523.45 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 543.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 549.55 and Rs. 533.95 respectively. So far 260339 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 618.00 on 12-Jul-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 156.75 on 24-Jul-2023.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 561.95 and Rs. 505.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 16799.52 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 72.84%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 5.01% and 22.14% respectively.
RailTel Corporation of India has received the work order from Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) for Design, Development, Implementation, Operations and Maintenance of HMIS and Integrated Empanelled Hospital Referral Portal for Indian Railways amounting to Rs 186.81 crore (Including Tax).
Earlier, the company had received the work order from Webel Technology for Upgradation and Enhancement of existing IT & Non-IT DC infrastructure at WBSDC Monibhandar.
