RailTel Corporation of India moves up on bagging work order worth Rs 124.90 crore

Railtel Corporation Of India is currently trading at Rs. 422.25, up by 3.20 points or 0.76% from its previous closing of Rs. 419.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 420.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 429.00 and Rs. 419.25 respectively. So far 174516 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 459.30 on 25-Jan-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 96.20 on 28-Mar-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 450.90 and Rs. 411.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 13556.44 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 72.84%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 4.85% and 22.31% respectively.

RailTel Corporation of India has received the work order from Western Railways amounting to Rs 124.90 crore for work of implementation of unified communication infrastructure comprising IPMPLS LAN Infra, VOIP exchange, IP based control communication and replacement of UTN over Western Railway. 

Order is awarded by Western Railway which is the part of Indian Railways and Ministry of Railways is a promoter of RailTel and has 72.84% shareholding in RailTel as on date.

RailTel Corporation of India provides broadband telecom and multimedia network across the country.
