RailTel Corporation gains on bagging order worth Rs 10.92 crore

Railtel Corporation Of India is currently trading at Rs. 496.50, up by 2.20 points or 0.45% from its previous closing of Rs. 494.30 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 496.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 501.80 and Rs. 496.25 respectively. So far 35663 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 618.00 on 12-Jul-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 200.30 on 09-Oct-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 515.60 and Rs. 484.80 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 15863.99 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 72.84%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 5.01% and 22.14% respectively.

RailTel Corporation of India has received the work order from Northern Railways for Railway Telecom Project amounting to Rs 10.92 crore. The said order is to be executed on September 04, 2025. 

Earlier, the company had secured ‘Navratna Status’ from Department of Public Enterprises, Ministry of Finance, Government of India. Navratna companies in India can invest up to Rs 1,000 crore or 15% of their net worth in a single project without needing government approval.
