FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per August 24 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 9542.87 crore against gross selling of Rs 8641.24 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 901.63 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 456.71 crore with gross sales of Rs 383.66 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 73.05 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 16.14 crore against gross selling of Rs 11.44 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 4.70 crore in hybrid segment.
