Race Eco Chain and Ganesha Ecosphere have signed a Joint Venture (JV) agreement on January 31, 2025 to form Ganesha Recycling Chain, which aims fill the raising demand for rPET Flakes by setting up several washing lines across India to produce Quality PET flakes. Under the agreement, the company will hold up to 51% equity stake in the joint venture, while Ganesha Ecosphere will hold up to 49%.

The company’s collaboration with Ganesha Ecosphere represents a forward integration strategy and this strategic expansion is poised to increase its profit margins and support value added business segments. Further, its overall ecosystem of Pan India network with reginal collection centers, suppliers, exclusive bailer network and recyclers which it has built, will support its goal towards meeting the raising demand for quality PET flakes by integrating washing line operations. With this, the company aims to enhance value addition, improve profit margins, and solidify its position as a leading ESG-compliant waste supply chain partner for leading recyclers to support raising demand for quality PET Flakes.
