Power Grid rises on acquiring Neemrana II Bareilly Transmission
Power Grid Corporation Of India is currently trading at Rs. 235.55, up by 1.95 points or 0.83% from its previous closing of Rs. 233.60 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 235.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 236.30 and Rs. 234.80 respectively. So far 33800 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 238.00 on 15-Dec-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 153.34 on 09-Jan-2023.

Power Grid Corporation of India, pursuant to its selection as the successful bidder under Tariff based competitive bidding, has on December 27, 2023 acquired Neemrana II Bareilly Transmission (NIIBTL), the Project SPV to establish Transmission System for ‘Transmission system for evacuation of power from Rajasthan REZ Ph-IV (Part-1) (Bikaner Complex): PART-D’, on build, own, operate and transfer (BOOT) basis from the Bid Process Coordinator – PFC Consulting. The project comprises of establishment of a new 765 kV D/C Transmission Line traversing in the states of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh along with associated bay extension works.
