Ashoka Buildcon surges as its arm executes Concession Agreement with NHAI

Ashoka Buildcon is currently trading at Rs. 285.20, up by 7.40 points or 2.66% from its previous closing of Rs. 277.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 290.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 290.90 and Rs. 283.15 respectively. So far 69013 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 319.00 on 31-Dec-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 140.40 on 08-Jan-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 313.55 and Rs. 276.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 8059.56 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.48%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 25.74% and 19.78% respectively.

Ashoka Buildcon’ wholly owned subsidiary -- Ashoka Bowaichandi Guskara Road (SPV) has executed a Concession Agreement with National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) on January 06, 2025, for the Project viz. for Development of 4 lane Economic Corridor from Bowaichandi to Guskara-Katwa Road Section Km 89.814 to Km 133.000 of NH 116A (Package-3) in the state of West Bengal under Hybrid Annuity Mode (Project). The SPV has been incorporated as wholly owned subsidiary of the Company for the execution of this Project as per requirement of the Concession Agreement. The accepted Bid Project Cost is Rs 1391 crore. The said project is expected to be executed in 910 days including monsoon.
