Power Grid Corporation moves up on acquiring Bhadla-III & Bikaner-III Transmission

Power Grid Corporation of India is currently trading at Rs. 338.05, up by 0.65 points or 0.19% from its previous closing of Rs. 337.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 338.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 339.90 and Rs. 335.60 respectively. So far 107557 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 362.30 on 01-Aug-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 183.98 on 1-Sep-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 341.45 and Rs. 329.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 314685.93 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.34%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 45.04% and 3.62% respectively.

Power Grid Corporation of India, pursuant to its selection as the successful bidder under Tariff based competitive bidding, has acquired Bhadla-III & Bikaner-III Transmission, the Project SPV to establish ‘Transmission System Strengthening for interconnections of Bhadla-III & Bikaner-III Complex’, on build, own, operate and transfer (BOOT) basis from the Bid Process Coordinator - PFC Consulting. 

The project comprises 765kV D/C Transmission Line interconnecting Bhadla-III & Bikaner-III substations and associated bays extension works at these substations in the state of Rajasthan
