Power Grid Corporation gains on acquiring `Bhadla III Transmission` from PFC Consulting
Power Grid Corporation is currently trading at Rs. 201.05, up by 1.75 points or 0.88% from its previous closing of Rs. 199.30 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 200.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 201.60 and Rs. 198.55 respectively. So far 203981 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 205.90 on 20-Sep-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 151.99 on 28-Sep-2022.

Power Grid Corporation of India, pursuant to its selection as the successful bidder under Tariff based competitive bidding, has acquired ‘Bhadla III Transmission’ (the Project SPV) on September 27, 2023 to establish ‘Transmission system for evacuation of power from REZ in Rajasthan (20GW) under Phase-III Part B1’, on build, own, operate and transfer (BOOT) basis from the Bid Process Coordinator i.e. PFC Consulting.
The project comprises of establishment of a new 765/400/220 kV Pooling Station at Bhadla-3 and a 765 kV D/C Transmission Line traversing in the state of Rajasthan and associated bay extension works. The transmission system is an Inter State Transmission System Project and is to be constructed within 18 months from the effective date of Contract.
