Orient Bell jumps on completing new GVT line at Dora plant

Orient Bell is currently trading at Rs. 470.55, up by 7.90 points or 1.71% from its previous closing of Rs. 462.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 468.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 479.10 and Rs. 468.00 respectively. So far 1332 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 648.95 on 22-May-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 451.00 on 01-Sep-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 479.10 and Rs. 453.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 682.04 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 65.20%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.11% and 34.69% respectively.

Orient Bell has completed and commissioned New Glazed Vitrified Tiles (GVT) Line at the Plant at Dora, near Vadodara, Gujarat well ahead of schedule and within the expected budget. Post this expansion, the total GVT capacity at Dora has increased from 2.2 MSM p.a. to 5.5 MSM p.a. - an increment of 3.3 MSM p.a. 

This new GVT line at Dora will ensure that the company is able to offer improved products to its customers in the Bigger and Higher growth markets of South & West enabling ‘Scale Up’.
