FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per October 24 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 15,648.06 crore against gross selling of Rs 20,638.80 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 4,990.74 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 713.55 crore with gross sales of Rs 1929.31 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1215.76 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 397.82 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 68.29 crore and net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 749.65 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 112.80 crore against gross selling of Rs 73.57 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 39.23 crore in hybrid segment.
