Nifty opened on a flat note but witnessed buying momentum in the first half however selling in the second half led the index lower toclosenear day's low. Nifty closed at 26250 with a loss of 78 points. On the daily chart the index has formed a small Bearish candle withshadowsoneither side indicating indecisiveness amongst participants regarding the direction. The chart pattern suggests that if Nifty crosses andsustainsabove 26260 level it would witness buying which would lead the index towards 26400-26500 levels. Important Supports for the dayisaround26180 However if index sustains below 26180 then it may witness profit booking which would take the index towards 26050-25950levels.
