NBCC soars after its arm wins work order worth Rs 1,261 crore

NBCC (India) is currently trading at Rs. 177.00, up by 2.90 points or 1.67% from its previous closing of Rs. 174.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 174.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 178.50 and Rs. 173.70 respectively. So far 777295 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 209.75 on 28-Aug-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 56.71 on 27-Sep-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 180.00 and Rs. 169.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 31941.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 61.75%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 13.89% and 24.35% respectively.

NBCC’s (India) wholly owned subsidiary -- HSCC (India) has received work order worth around Rs 1,261 crore from Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. The work order is for establishment of AIIMS in Darbhanga, Bihar. The aforesaid work is in the normal course of business of the HSCC (India).

NBCC (India) is one of the few public sector companies engaged in the business of project management consultancy services for civil construction projects (PMC), civil infrastructure for power sector and real estate development.
