Major thrust to health infra in Jammu and Kashmir : Rajouri gets new sub district hospital buiding

In a major boost to health infrastructure in Rajouri, J&K, is receiving a substantial upgrade, particularly in far-flung border areas. The Sub-District Hospital (SDH) in Sunderbani is a prime example, with a new building under construction at an estimated cost of 18 crores. This additional block will have a capacity of 50 beds and is expected to be completed by July. The SDH Sunderbani already offers a range of services, ultrasound services available at all times, including emergencies. This development is crucial, given that Sunderbani sub-division falls along the border areas of Rajouri district. The improved health infrastructure will benefit the local population, providing them with better access to quality healthcare services.
