Jitan Ram Manjhi lauds passing of Unified Pension Scheme, calls it a historic step by PM NarendraModi
Following the Central Government's approval of the Unified Pension Scheme on August 24, Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi hailed it as a historic move by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He noted that the scheme would benefit 25 lakh people and, if adopted by state governments, could extend direct benefits to a total of 90 lakh individuals.
“Our 25 lakh employees will benefit. If the state governments agree to this, then 90 lakh employees will benefit from it. This is a historic step by Narendra Modi. He has given due respect to hard work. We thank him for this”, said Jitan Ram Manjhi.
