GRSE shines on becoming lowest bidder for construction of NGC for Indian Navy

Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers is currently trading at Rs. 2602.00, up by 101.90 points or 4.08% from its previous closing of Rs. 2500.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2461.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2641.00 and Rs. 2446.65 respectively. So far 356107 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2834.60 on 05-Jul-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1148.10 on 05-Jun-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2641.00 and Rs. 2254.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 29836.21 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.50%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 5.75% and 19.76% respectively.

Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE) has become the Lowest bidder (L1) for Construction of Next Generation Corvettes (NGC) for Indian Navy. The L1 bidder will be awarded five NGC ships at a likely value of more than Rs 25,000 crore.

GRSE attended the Commercial Negotiation Committee (CNC) meeting convened by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for opening of commercial bids for the acquisition of eight Next Generation Corvettes (NGC) on May 21, 2025 in New Delhi. 

Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers is a shipbuilding company in India under the administrative control of the MoD and primarily adhere to the shipbuilding requirements of the Indian Navy and the Indian Coast Guard.
