J&K: Sonmarg covered in thick snow after heavy snowfall
Sonamarg is covered in a blanket of snow, as the area receives heavy snowfall. According to IMD, the minimum and maximum temperatures in the area were recorded at -8 degrees Celsius and 4 degrees Celsius respectively. The much-awaited fresh snowfall brought smiles to the faces of locals and tourists alike. Tourists flocked to the town's scenic spots to enjoy the mesmerizing views and the joy of experiencing falling snow.
