ITC’s VP Digital Gaurav Kataria highlights crucial role AI-driven growth for MSMEs
As India host AI Impact Summit 2026, ITC Ltd Digital (Manufacturing) Vice President and Chief Digital & Information Officer (CDIO) for its Paperboard and Specialty Papers Division (PSPD) Gaurav Kataria on Feb 18 said that MSME is absolutely a great focus and really, really required at this point in time.
“Fantastic event. I think great mix of speakers and opinions have come specially on the panel which have come. There's a big emphasis on unlocking the value within the manufacturing sector from the use of AI, starting right from machine learning all the way going up to agentic AI. Very, very diverse view and very interesting… MSME is absolutely a great focus and really, really required at this point in time. We all have to learn and evolve. It's a new technology. It will take time. It's in its infancy…We all have to make sure that there are guardrails which are put. The government's doing a great job from a policy perspective. And we will continue to support all the endeavours from a government standpoint…,” said Gaurav Kataria.
