ITC moves up on acquiring entire stake in Sresta Natural Bioproducts

ITC is currently trading at Rs. 415.20, up by 1.30 points or 0.31% from its previous closing of Rs. 413.90 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 413.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 416.15 and Rs. 413.05 respectively. So far 49643 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 500.01 on 27-Sep-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 391.50 on 03-Mar-2025.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 428.50 and Rs. 413.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 518835.41 crore.
The Institutions and Non-Institutions held 85.09% and 14.91% respectively in the company.
ITC has acquired the entire share capital (comprising 1,87,48,858 Equity Shares of Rs 10 each) of Sresta Natural Bioproducts (SNBPL). Consequently, SNBPL has become a wholly owned subsidiary of the company and its subsidiaries viz., Fyve Elements LLC, USA and Sresta Global FZE, UAE, have become step-down wholly owned subsidiaries of the company with effect from June 13, 2025.
In line with the strategy to augment the company’s future ready portfolio, the transaction is expected to fortify ITC’s presence and market standing in the high growth organic products segment in both Indian and overseas markets
ITC has business a interests in cigarettes, hotels, paperboards and specialty papers, packaging, agribusiness, packaged foods and confectionery, information technology, branded apparel, personal care, stationery, safety matches and other FMCG products.
